Business Development Representative (BDR) hybrid Account Executive (AE)

Great opportunity to progress your sales journey with this hybrid BDR and Account Executive role with a fast growing SaaS startup based in Burnaby.  The ideal candidate is comfortable with wearing multiple hats and will work closely with the Director of Revenue, Marketing and Content teams. The candidate will develop new B2B Sales opportunities and will manage the sales process from discovery, solution overview, negotiation to close. They will engage with the clients after onboarding to ensure success and follow up on any further needs.  The candidate should have experience working in a startup environment. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects/opportunities
  • Lead qualified leads through the sales cycle and close deals
  • Coordinate the outbound sales process from start to finish; collaborating with various internal departments to create client recommendations and solutions
  • Update and maintain communications and client data in the CRM
  • Work closely with content marketing and SDR’s to increase lead volumes of prospects
  • Understand our products inside and out. Be comfortable upselling and cross-selling our product suite to businesses.
  • Educate and nurture prospects about the transformative value of Breadstack
  • Conduct software product demonstrations in person or virtually.
  • Attend events and trade shows for the purpose of prospecting leads
  • Create quotes, draft contracts and offer incentives to clients as required

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business related field
  • With at least 5+ years of sales experience in SaaS, as a BDR, SDR, or AE
  • Experience nurturing B2B accounts
  • Ability to find high-opportunity deals with a focus on uncovering a lead’s needs
  • Intermediate computer skills including CRM software (PipeDrive, Hubspot, Klaviyo)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly convey messages through phone, email, and remote video calls

PLUSES:

  • Experience with eCommerce either by managing an eCommerce store or with eCommerce customer success in some capacity
  • Sales experience for an advertising or digital agency
  • Commission to be determined
